The code used in original Hello World tutorial use AS1, so once you have understand what Flash Remoting is, and also have amfphp installed, return here to code again the Flash side using AS2 classes. For those lazy in reading, here's a quick list of requirements:

- A web server running with php support (ColdFusion if you want to check ColdFusion example)
- Amfphp. You can download from http://www.amfphp.org
- Remoting AS2 classes from http://www.macromedia.com/software/flashremoting/downloads/components/.

Future of Flash-Db - What Suggestion you got for Flash-Db ?

RealVNC is really awesome Remote Software, it got server and user - Apps, I just installed the Server to my Windows 2000 pro at home with my sister's assitent and viewer to my XP Laptop here at workplace and it's working like charm. If you use Mozilla's FireFox , you know that you can open links to new tab instead of new browser window, very good.

Here's extension (settings..) how to make every link open in tab instead new window (normally you just have to right click and choose "Open link in new Tab" .. that takes time dude!!)

I noticed that many problems regarding PHP are caused by the fact that most people are unaware of the changes PHP made in PHP 4.2.0.

The default value for the PHP directive register_globals went from ON to OFF. Reliance on this directive was quite common and many people didn't even know it existed and assumed it's just how PHP works.

This is a major change in PHP. Having register_globals off affects the set of predefined variables available in the global scope. For example, to get DOCUMENT_ROOT you'll use $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] instead of $DOCUMENT_ROOT, or $_GET['id'] from the URL http://www.example.com/test.php?id=3 instead of $id, or $_ENV['HOME'] instead of $HOME.
